Progress on Project #3
For project #3, I have gotten a good start. Once I figured out my interview questions, I made
a point to email my high school coach and a coach from another school. I have not gotten any responses on the
questions yet. I’m assuming they will be
emailing me in a few days. I also texted
some of the girls from my high school team to get their input on the discourse
community. I got their emails and I’m
still in the process of getting responses from them too. I have also been looking online for
information about the cheerleading discourse.
I am looking to see all of the different language that is used in the
community and all of the different teaching methods. There are many other blogs that talk about
the cheerleading discourse, so I have been trying to look at those to gather
information. I think the project is
going well so far, I just need to get more information and put it all together.
